Live at NXNE’s kick-off @ Yonge-Dundas Square, Thursday June 18 at 1230p: The NXNE Rabbit will crank out the first ceremonial guitar licks to officially open NXNE 2009 with the Honourable Monique Smith, Ontario’s Minster of Tourism joining in the launch. Then Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone will introduce the Toronto Song Contest, and you will be among the first to hear a live throwdown by finalists in the battle to write Toronto a 175th anniversary song. Presented by the City of Toronto in partnership with NXNE, NOW Magazine and CP24.
