From the Graduating NXNE Film Fest Class of 2012
Film festival programmer Ambrose Roche gives us an update on two films that screened at this year’s festival.
First, an update on Cameron MacKenzie, the 14 year-old sensation, triple threat (writer, director, star), and NXNE discovery. Her short film, Letting Go (which had its world premiere at NXNE), just won the prestigious “BEST STUDENT FILM” at the St. Cloud Film Festival.
For those of you who missed Cameron at the fest, you can still check the daily blog she did while attending NXNE .
And another one of our premieres – Slaughter Nick For President (the best reviewed film at NXNE 2012) gets its theatrical launch in the Nation’s Capital TODAY.
Tell your friends, family, neighbours, pets, and ANYONE into the subversive use of pop culture to overthrow a Government… So, if you find yourself in Ottawa, this is one documentary worth checking out. Trust us.
