In a year of spectacle – Flaming Lips vs. Top Less Gay Love Tekno Part[ies] – and Wu-sanity, Action Bronson was hard to miss. After all, the New Yorker did do double duty – spending Saturday spitting at the packed Drake and then smoking a thing or two (or three, or four, etc.) at YDS on Sunday.
The chef-turned-rapper didn’t even need the stage to rock a mic. His last song at Yonge + Dundas saw him grab a seat backstage in his dressing room, put his feet up, finish with his eyes closed and go a cappella. If you missed out on this, lucky for you the NXNE alumn will be back in Toronto and playing The Hoxton on August 9.
