Remember when Hayden interviewed The National’s Matt Berninger? Well, now you can see them get even more face time – Hayden opens for The National on Friday, June 14th at Yonge-Dundas Square.
The Arts & Crafts signed musician has spent over two decades making music, garnered a reputation for being private and reclusive, and even been the subject of a Wikipedia death hoax. Hayden released his seventh album, Us Alone, earlier this year and is no stranger to The National – they toured Europe together in late 2007 and the band’s vocalist/songwriter Berninger told NXNE his favourite Toronto memory is drinking on Hayden’s roof. Say it with us now: Aww.
Hayden plays Friday, June 14th at YDS at 7:30 pm.
The show is free, but get there early. CTZNSHP kick things off at 6:30 pm & The National go on at 9:10 pm.
