Crispin Giles spent his formative years in the damp basement
recording studios of B.C., where he studied music production and
then fled to sunny Toronto. His nearly 20 years in the biz have seen
him behind a guitar as a performer, behind the board as a sound
engineer, behind a desk as a talent booker and behind the scenes as
a tour manager. He helped build the reputation of Toronto live-music
instituion C'est What over the past decade, tour-managed for indie
stalwarts like Jason Collett and Amy Millan. Crispin now puts his
wide experience and soothing voice to work enhancing NXNE's
relationships within the Canadian independent music community and
beyond.
