“PUT THE BOOT IN”
NXNE’S 7th ANNUAL CHARITY FOOTIE MATCH
NXNE will once again PUT THE BOOT IN on Sunday, June 16th, with The Rockers taking on The Rollers for soccer supremacy – and charity.
Leading Canadian musicians – all fools for footie – line up against a team of media moguls in the country’s longest running fundraiser for Right To Play, at NXNE’s PUT THE BOOT IN charity soccer match. Admission is pay-what-you-can. PUT THE BOOT IN also features a kids’ scrimmage for children 13 years and under and an on-site raffle with great prizes donated by a variety of local businesses.
Will The Rockers, a ragtag team of musicians and associates, find the back of the net as well as they can find a chord and walk off with the coveted Queen and Beaver Cup? Or will The Rollers, a squad made up of popular media types, put down their smartphones to flatten the competition?
