NXNE’s LA-based Programming Specialist John Kastner is an indie rock
legend and still an active musician on a global scale. A teenaged
punk phenom with his Montréal band the Asexuals, Kastner went on to
rock audiences worldwide fronting the Doughboys, All Systems Go! and
his own solo band. He’s played to 70,000-plus music fans on the main
stage at Glastonbury and Kurt Cobain’s Nirvana regularly opened for
Kastner in the early days. He’s started more than one record label
and still is an active owner of Cobra side in California. He brings
great taste, even better contacts and awesome dreads to the rocking
NXNE team.
