Deadline for submissions is November 2, 2012 at 11:59pm

  • When/where is NXNE Interactive?

NXNEi 2013 will take place in Toronto, from June 13-15th at the Hyatt Regency on King St.

  • Will the public be able to vote on presentation/panel submissions?

Possibly. This will depend on the number and quality of submissions. Our goal is to gather your opinions as part of the process, but we want to be sure this is worth your time and ours before we do so.

  • How is the content for NXNEi selected?

For the first two years Rick Mason has acted as the lead curator. In 2011 we added a number of our peers and representatives from NXNEi's partners to help curate. The selection process was based entirely on the curatorial group's guidance. For 2013 this will largely remain the same, with two changes. First, we will be reaching out to a broader board of influencers assembled from past FITC/NXNEi speakers for content ideas. Second we aim to add the public voting results as part of the decision process. Stay tuned for more on this.

  • What kind of content are we looking for?

Anything that touches on the broad theme of "interactive" really. Social media, gaming, web development, design, brain control, changing the world, music, film, television, transmedia, ARG's - submit an idea and we'll consider each and every one.

  • Haven't been to NXNEi before and wondering what it's all about?
