Makadi, is an independent American-Canadian artist epitomizing the avante-garde outer bounds of R&B/Soul and the next generation of Black eclecticism. Makadi confidently interweaves neo-soul, singer-songwriter, jazz, funk, and more to consistently push the envelope. Cinematic visuals, vivid storytelling, harmony and vulnerability are at the core of his genre-bending dialect. He is a two-time Boston NPR Tiny Desk finalist and has opened for Burna Boy, Diplo, SAINt JHN, Ty Dolla $ign, and Freddie Gibbs.
