Mars Aspen (they/them) is an emerging singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. Their songs explore themes of vulnerability, love, heartbreak, and everything in between. They weave aspects of personal identity and experience into saccharine-sweet indie folk that invites any and all listeners to find a new home within their sound. Since releasing their EP Orbit in 2022, they’ve performed alongside Leith Ross and Rae Spoon. Mars made their broadcast debut on CTV Ottawa’s Music Mondays performing Over Grown in September 2024. Their latest release, Pest Control, was released through LGBTQ+ label Twin Fang Records.
