Introduced to the world of hip hop through rap giants The Fugees, Calgary rapper The Blue’s music reflects a fusion of this early influence and waves of new school. His 2022 album “Things Could Be Worse” provided upbeat, soul fuelled beats and melodies that saw The Blue nominated for Rap Recording of the Year at the 2023 YYC Music Awards. He and his live band have supported Shad, k-os, SonReal, Dragonette, and more.
