Kajé is an R&B artist from Toronto, Canada, known as the enigmatic Northern Star Diva of Soul. She captivates audiences with her mystic presence and raspy, timeless voice. Kajé embodies the spirit of jazz and soul greats from as early as the 1930s and draws influence from legendary artists like Sarah Vaughn, Etta James, Prince, Lauryn Hill, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Jazmine Sullivan.
She has opened for renowned headliners such as Johnny Gill, Dexta Daps, Tony Rebel, and Davido. Kajé’s mission is to revive the timeless genres of Soul, Gospel, and Jazz within the contemporary landscape of R&B music. Her songs blend heartfelt lyrics and intricate melodies, preserving the essence of classic soul while infusing it with modern sensibilities.
Beyond her music, Kajé is deeply committed to her community and youth empowerment. She has given back by singing and speaking at her old public school, Grenoble, and was a finalist for the Toronto Peace Project, an initiative focused on stopping gun violence in the city. Kajé has also attended and supported community conferences that promote peace initiatives.
